Metro 33 Rose Gold

The NOMOS Metro Rose Gold 33 1170 debuted in 2017 as a 33mm version of the Metro with a polished 18k rose gold case. The watch follows the original Metro design by Mark Braun, with a narrow bezel, wire-style lugs, a domed sapphire crystal, and a diamond-knurled crown. Earlier versions of this model used the Alpha calibre, while this version is fitted with the hand-wound DUW 4001. The case measures 33mm in diameter, 7.7mm in height, and 40mm from lug to lug. It has a sapphire crystal case back and a water resistance rating of 3 atm. The compact case size, slim profile, and precious-metal construction define this reference within the Metro collection. The galvanized white silver-plated dial has grey hour markers at 3, 9, and 12 o’clock, with purple minute markers around the outer scale. The rose gold hands match the case material. The display is limited to central hours and minutes, without a seconds hand or date indication. The DUW 4001 is a manually wound in-house calibre measuring 10 ½ lignes in diameter and 2.6mm in height. It has 17 jewels and a power reserve of up to 53 hours. Its use here is the main technical difference from earlier Alpha-powered versions of the same model. The watch is supplied on a beige vegan velour remborde strap with a 16mm lug width.
