Metro Neomatik Nachtblau

Ref. 1110

The NOMOS Metro Neomatik Midnight Blue 1110 debuted in 2016 as a 35mm automatic Metro with a midnight blue dial. Designed by Mark Braun, it uses the collection’s narrow bezel, wire-style lugs, domed sapphire crystal, and diamond-knurled crown, combined with the thin automatic DUW 3001 calibre. The stainless steel case measures 35mm in diameter, 8.1mm in height, and 42.1mm from lug to lug. It has a sapphire crystal case back and is currently rated to 5 atm. Earlier versions of this reference were rated to 3 atm. The low case height is supported by the 3.2mm height of the DUW 3001. The dial is listed by NOMOS as midnight blue. Across production, the shade appears to have shifted slightly darker, while the basic dial configuration remained unchanged. The dial uses the Metro’s dot minute track, with green minute markers and the neomatik signature on the dial. The rhodium-plated hands contrast with the dark dial surface, while the neon orange central seconds hand adds a separate colour accent. The DUW 3001 is an automatic in-house calibre measuring 12 ¾ lignes in diameter. It has a power reserve of up to 43 hours and uses the NOMOS swing system. In the supplied specifications for this reference, the movement is listed with 27 jewels. The watch is supplied on a black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan remborde strap with quick-change spring bars and a 17mm lug width.
