Metro Neomatik

The NOMOS Metro Neomatik 1106 debuted in 2016 as a 35mm automatic version of the Metro. Designed by Mark Braun, it combines the collection’s narrow bezel, wire-style lugs, domed sapphire crystal, and diamond-knurled crown with the DUW 3001, NOMOS’ thin automatic in-house calibre. The stainless steel case measures 35mm in diameter, 8.1mm in height, and 42.1mm from lug to lug. It has a sapphire crystal case back and is rated to 5 atm. Earlier versions of this reference were rated to 3 atm. The slim case profile is made possible in part by the 3.2mm height of the DUW 3001. The galvanized white silver-plated dial uses the Metro’s fine dot minute track, with cyan blue details including the neomatik signature. The hands are oxidized black, while the central seconds hand is red. The display consists of central hours, minutes, and seconds. The DUW 3001 is an automatic in-house calibre measuring 12 ¾ lignes in diameter. It has 37 jewels, a power reserve of up to 43 hours, and uses the NOMOS swing system. The watch is supplied on a black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan remborde strap with quick-change spring bars and a 17mm lug width.
