How to reach the people who maintain the catalogue, and what to send them.

Last updated

One address reaches everyone who works on Dials: hello@dials.co.

There is no phone line and no support ticket system. Mail is read by a person, usually within a couple of working days.

What to send

A catalogue correction. The most valuable thing we receive. A specification here can be wrong in the ordinary ways: a case diameter off by a millimetre, a calibre attributed to the wrong movement, production years that end too early. Tell us which model (a link to its page is ideal), which field, what it currently says and what it should say. A source helps and is not required; we would rather hear about an error we then have to verify than not hear about it.

A missing model, series or brand. The catalogue grows from two directions: reference data and the marketplace listings that turn out to describe watches we had never catalogued. If something you expect to find is absent, say so.

A photograph problem. Wrong watch on a model page, a crop that has eaten a lug, an image that should not be there. Include the model page's URL.

An API question. Read dials.co/developers first; it covers authentication (there is none for the public endpoints), the shape of every response, rate limits and versioning. If the answer is not there, write and we will fix the documentation as well as answer you.

A takedown or rights question. If you hold rights to an image or a body of reference data that appears here and want it removed, write with enough detail to identify what you mean and it will be taken down while we look into it, not after.

Press and partnerships. Same address. Say what you are working on.

What not to send

We cannot value your watch, cannot tell you whether a specific watch is authentic, and cannot broker a sale. Nothing on this site transacts, and no listing here is ours: a listing links back to the dealer or platform that published it, and any question about price, condition, shipping or returns belongs to them, not to us.

Response times

Corrections are usually applied within a week of being verified; complicated ones (a whole series that needs restructuring) take longer and we will say so. Anything about rights or removals is treated as urgent.
