Metro 33 Muted Red / Steel Back

The NOMOS Metro 33 muted red 1123.SB is the steel-back version of the smaller hand-wound Metro with a muted red dial, part of a trio of colorways described through a New York City lens. In this version, the warm red surface and rose accents evoke the tones of brownstone facades and urban masonry. Its stainless steel case measures 33.0mm in diameter, 7.5mm in height, and 40.0mm lug to lug. It is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal and a stainless steel case back. Water resistance is rated to 5 atm. The dial is galvanized in muted red, with gray hour markers at 3, 9, and 12 o’clock and rose minute markers. A recessed small-seconds register adds depth, while the rhodium-plated hands and rose seconds hand reinforce the warmer palette. Inside is the NOMOS Alpha, a hand-wound movement measuring 23.3mm in diameter and 2.6mm in height, with 17 jewels and a power reserve of up to 43 hours. This reference is fitted on a velvet gray vegan velour remborde strap with quick-change spring bars and a 16mm lug width.
