Metro Neomatik 39 Silvercut
Ref. 1114
The NOMOS Metro Neomatik 39 Silvercut 1114 debuted in 2017 as a larger automatic Metro with a rhodium-plated silvercut dial. Designed by Mark Braun, it uses the collection’s narrow bezel, wire-style lugs, domed sapphire crystal, and diamond-knurled crown, combined with the thin automatic DUW 3001 calibre. The stainless steel case measures 38.5mm in diameter, 8.4mm in height, and 45.5mm from lug to lug. It has a sapphire crystal case back and is rated to 5 atm. The case proportions match the larger Metro Neomatik format, with the slim profile supported by the 3.2mm height of the movement. The dial is rhodium-plated and has a brushed silvercut finish. Red indexes appear at 3, 9, and 12 o’clock, while the hands are rhodium-plated. A red central seconds hand continues the colour accent and distinguishes this reference from the white silver-plated Metro Neomatik 39. The display consists of central hours, minutes, and seconds. The DUW 3001 is an automatic in-house calibre measuring 12 ¾ lignes in diameter. It has a power reserve of up to 43 hours and uses the NOMOS swing system. In the supplied specifications for this reference, the movement is listed with 27 jewels. The watch is supplied on a black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan remborde strap with quick-change spring bars and a 19mm lug width.
