Lux Weissgold

The NOMOS Lux white gold 920 was introduced in 2013 as the larger white gold version of the Lux collection with light blue dial printing. This reference combines a tonneau-shaped 18k white gold case measuring 36.0mm by 40.5mm with a white silver-plated dial, rhodium-plated hands, and the manually wound DUW 2002. Like the other Lux models, it belongs to NOMOS’ Atelier line and uses a shaped movement developed for the case architecture. The white gold case measures 9.0mm in height and 48.6mm from lug to lug. It is fitted with sapphire crystal glass on the front and a sapphire crystal case back, allowing the movement to be viewed from the back. Water resistance is rated at 3 atm, making the watch splash-proof. The tonneau form gives the Lux collection a distinct profile within the NOMOS catalogue, with a softly rectangular shape and proportions built around the movement rather than a conventional round case. The dial is galvanized and white silver-plated, with light blue printing that defines this version within the larger white gold Lux range. The two-handed display is kept visually sparse, with rhodium-plated hands and fine dial markings set against the pale silver base. Compared with the monochrome Lux white gold light, reference 920 introduces a cooler colour accent while retaining the same case material, case size, and movement configuration. Inside is the NOMOS DUW 2002, a manually wound movement shaped to fit the tonneau case. It measures 3.6mm in height and 32.6mm by 22.6mm, with 23 jewels and a power reserve of up to 84 hours. The movement features fine sunburst polishing, screwed gold chatons, hand-bevelled and polished edges, and a hand-engraved balance cock. The watch is fitted to a black cushioned remborde Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan strap with an 18mm lug width.
