Ludwig Neomatik Champagner

The NOMOS Ludwig Neomatik Champagne 283 is the champagne gold dial version of the 36mm automatic Ludwig. It uses the DUW 3001 calibre inside a slim stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal back, while adding neon orange Roman numerals and minute numerals to the Ludwig’s classical dial structure. The case measures 36mm in diameter, 7mm in height, and 46mm from lug to lug. It has a domed sapphire crystal front and a sapphire crystal case back. The case retains the Ludwig’s slender bezel and discreet lug profile, with the thin DUW 3001 helping keep the automatic construction close in height to the hand-wound Ludwig models. Current specifications list water resistance at 5 atm, an increase from the earlier 3 atm rating. The galvanized champagne gold dial combines Roman numerals with Arabic minute numerals. The neon orange markings provide the main colour accent, while the rhodium-plated hands contrast with the warm dial surface. The display consists of central hours, minutes, and seconds. Power comes from the NOMOS DUW 3001, an automatic in-house calibre measuring 12 ¾ lignes in diameter and 3.2mm in height. It has 27 jewels, a power reserve of up to 43 hours, and uses the NOMOS swing system. The watch is supplied on a natural-finish cowhide leather remborde strap with an 18mm lug width.
