Ludwig Neomatik 41 Date

The NOMOS Ludwig Neomatik 41 Date 262 integrates a large date display into the Ludwig design, using the automatic DUW 6101 calibre inside a 40.5mm stainless steel case. The reference keeps the collection’s Roman numeral dial language and extends it to the date indication, with the date shown in Roman numerals through a wide window at 3 o’clock. The case measures 40.5mm in diameter, 7.7mm in height, and 49mm from lug to lug. It has a sapphire crystal front with anti-reflective coating on the inner side, plus a sapphire crystal case back. Despite the added date mechanism and larger case diameter, the watch remains relatively thin due to the 3.6mm height of the DUW 6101. Water resistance is rated to 5 atm. The galvanized white silver-plated dial uses Roman numerals, a fine minute track, tempered blue hands, and a small seconds display at 6 o’clock. The date window is placed at 3 o’clock and uses Roman numerals instead of Arabic numerals, making the date display part of the Ludwig’s broader dial vocabulary rather than a separate graphic element. Power comes from the NOMOS DUW 6101, an automatic in-house calibre with a patented date mechanism. It measures 15 ½ lignes in diameter and 3.6mm in height, with 42 jewels and a power reserve of up to 42 hours. The date can be quick-set in both directions. The watch is supplied on a black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan remborde strap with a 20mm lug width and a rounded stainless steel winged clasp.
