Ludwig 33

The NOMOS Ludwig 33 243 is the steel-back version of the smaller hand-wound Ludwig, reducing the model’s classical design to a 32.8mm case. Its stainless steel case measures 32.8mm in diameter, 6.5mm in height, and 42.2mm lug to lug. It is fitted with a sapphire crystal and a stainless steel case back, and is water-resistant to 5 atm; earlier versions were rated to 3 atm. The dial is galvanized and white silver-plated, with Ludwig’s Roman numerals and a recessed small-seconds register. As on other Ludwig models, the dial uses IIII instead of IV. Tempered blue steel hands complete the display. This reference is fitted on a beige velour leather strap with a 17mm lug width. Inside is the NOMOS Alpha, a hand-wound movement measuring 23.3mm in diameter and 2.6mm in height, with 17 jewels and a power reserve of up to 43 hours.
