Ludwig 33 Noir / Closed Case Back

The NOMOS Ludwig 33 Noir 226 brings a black dial and gold-coloured hands to the compact 32.8mm Ludwig format. It keeps the collection’s Roman numerals, railroad minute track, small seconds display, and slender case profile, but gives the reference a darker dial-side execution than the white-dial Ludwig 33 models. The stainless steel case measures 32.8mm in diameter, 6.5mm in height, and 42.2mm from lug to lug. It has a sapphire crystal front and a closed stainless steel case back. The case follows the Ludwig design with a narrow bezel, rounded profile, and slightly curved lugs. Current specifications list water resistance at 5 atm, while the reference was rated to 3 atm at launch. The galvanized black dial uses Roman numerals, a traditional railroad minute track, and a recessed small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock. The gold-coloured hands contrast with the black dial surface and match the warmer dial accents. The display consists of central hours and minutes with subsidiary seconds. Power comes from the NOMOS Alpha, a manually wound in-house calibre measuring 10 ½ lignes in diameter and 2.6mm in height. It has 17 jewels and a power reserve of up to 43 hours. The watch is supplied on an anthracite vegan velour remborde strap with a 17mm lug width.
