Minimatik 39 Date Gold

The NOMOS Minimatik 39 Date Gold 1251 is the gold-accented version of the 39.5mm Minimatik 39 Date, combining a white silver-plated dial with gold hands, a gold-framed date window, and the hand-wound DUW 4601 calibre. It is one of three versions of the Minimatik 39 Date, alongside the standard white silver-plated model and the blue-dial version. The stainless steel case measures 39.5mm in diameter, 7.5mm in height, and 47.7mm from lug to lug. It has a domed sapphire crystal front and a sapphire crystal case back. The case is conically shaped and tapers slightly towards the dial side, with softly integrated lugs and a slim profile despite the date mechanism. Water resistance is rated to 5 atm. The galvanized white silver-plated dial has a small seconds display at 6 o’clock and a minute track with Arabic numerals at five-minute intervals. The gold hands are lightly curved and extend from the centre towards rounded tips, while the date window at 3 o’clock is framed in gold. Its large aperture is enabled by the DUW 4601 construction, with the date ring positioned around the outer edge of the movement. Power comes from the NOMOS DUW 4601, a manually wound in-house calibre measuring 15 ⅓ lignes in diameter and 2.8mm in height. It has 23 jewels, a power reserve of up to 52 hours, and a patented date mechanism. The movement is visible through the large sapphire crystal case back, with sunbeam ribbing extending across the date-ring plate. The watch is supplied on a brown Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan strap with a 20mm lug width.
