Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Four Stainless Steel / Blue / Rubber Ref. M79000B-0002

The TUDOR Black Bay 54 M79000B-0002 debuted in 2026 as a blue-dial addition to the Black Bay 54 line, following the original Black Bay 54 introduced in 2023 and the 2025 “Lagoon Blue” model. It retains the 37 mm case, aluminium bezel insert, and Manufacture Calibre MT5400 of the series, here combined with a blue dial and rubber strap. Its stainless steel case measures 37 mm in diameter, 11.2 mm in thickness, and 46 mm lug-to-lug, with a 20 mm lug width. The case combines polished and satin finishes and is fitted with a stainless steel screw-down crown bearing the TUDOR rose in relief. Water resistance is rated to 200 metres. The watch is fitted with a 60-minute unidirectional bezel in stainless steel with a blue aluminium insert devoid of minute graduations. The dial is blue, domed, and satin radial-brushed, with applied hour markers, Snowflake hands, and a lollipop seconds hand. The hands and markers are coated with Grade A Swiss Super-LumiNova, and the watch is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal. Inside is the Manufacture Calibre MT5400, a self-winding mechanical movement with hours, minutes, and central seconds, stop-seconds, COSC certification, a non-magnetic silicon balance spring, and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The movement measures 30.3 mm in diameter and 5 mm in thickness and operates at 28,800 beats per hour. The watch is fitted with a rubber strap and a TUDOR “T-fit” clasp. In the press material, the rubber strap is described as available in three sizes and designed to be cut to the wearer’s wrist, with the signature snowflake motif on the inside and a form-fitted construction specific to the Black Bay 54.
