The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional 310.60.42.50.01.002 debuted in 2026 as a precious-metal interpretation of the modern sapphire-crystal Moonwatch, retaining the core design language associated with the fourth-generation Speedmaster worn during the Apollo lunar missions. The case is executed entirely in 18K Moonshine™ Gold and measures 42 mm in diameter, with a lug-to-lug length of 47.46 mm and a thickness of 13.63 mm. Sapphire crystal is fitted to both the front and the caseback, with anti-reflective treatment applied to the inner surface of the front crystal. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres. The watch is delivered on a polished-brushed Moonshine™ Gold bracelet constructed in the five-arched-link Moonwatch style and fitted with a foldover clasp incorporating OMEGA’s comfort adjustment system. The dial follows an inverted black-and-white configuration constructed as a double-plate step dial. The upper dial plate is finished in black with a varnished and lacquered surface, while the recessed subdials are rendered in white with the same varnished finish. The subdials are framed by rhodium-plated rings and display small seconds, a 30-minute chronograph counter, and a 12-hour chronograph counter. The minute track is transferred in white on the main dial, with black transfers on the subdials. Applied hour markers, hands, and the OMEGA logo are executed in 18K Moonshine™ Gold and filled with white Super-LumiNova. The central chronograph seconds hand is finished in PVD Moonshine™ Gold. Surrounding the dial is a black ceramic bezel ring fitted with a tachymeter scale rendered in white enamel, including the characteristic dot-over-90 marking. Powering the watch is the manually wound OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 3861. The movement operates at a frequency of 3 Hz, delivers a power reserve of approximately 50 hours, and is certified by METAS for precision, magnetic resistance up to 15,000 gauss, and overall performance. The movement is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback.
