The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional 310.30.42.50.01.001 debuted in 2021 as part of the updated Moonwatch Professional generation equipped with the Calibre 3861, marking the continuation of the Speedmaster’s historically significant manually wound chronograph architecture. The watch is housed in a 42 mm stainless steel asymmetrical case measuring 47.50 mm lug to lug and approximately 13.18 mm in thickness. Water resistance is rated to 5 bar. A black anodised aluminium bezel with tachymeter scale frames the dial and retains the traditional dot over 90 detail. The front is fitted with a hesalite crystal, while the caseback is executed in solid stainless steel, consistent with historical Moonwatch specifications. The black step dial follows the fourth-generation Speedmaster layout and features printed hour markers, the Omega logo, and white chronograph scales. Moonwatch-style hands are used throughout. The chronograph display consists of a small seconds sub-dial, a 30-minute recorder, and a 12-hour recorder arranged in a tri-compax configuration. Powering the watch is the manual-winding Omega Calibre 3861, a Co-Axial Master Chronometer certified by METAS. Operating at a frequency of 3 Hz, the movement provides a power reserve of approximately 50 hours and is resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. The calibre incorporates a free-sprung balance with a silicon balance spring and features rhodium-plated finishing. The Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional 310.30.42.50.01.001 is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet featuring a foldover clasp with comfort adjustment.
