Omega Constellation Observatory Stainless Steel / Black Ref. 140.13.39.21.01.001

The Omega Constellation Observatory Stainless Steel / Black 140.13.39.21.01.001 has a 39.4 mm stainless steel case, measures 12.23 mm thick, and is water resistant to 30 metres.

The Omega Constellation Observatory 140.13.39.21.01.001 debuted in 2026 as part of the Constellation collection and introduces a design that references early Constellation models while incorporating contemporary movement technology. The watch features a round case in O-Megasteel measuring 39.4 mm in diameter, with faceted “dog-leg” lugs and a bezel with sharply defined facets. The case is fitted with a domed, bevelled sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides and offers water resistance to 3 bar. The caseback is fitted with a sapphire crystal, allowing the movement to be viewed. The dial is executed in black ceramic with a polished centre and polished faceted outer sections inspired by the “pie-pan” dial construction used on the original Constellation introduced in 1952. Unlike the faceted dials of other versions, the outer sections are presented without grooves. The dial features a transferred Omega logo and an applied Constellation star, while diamond-polished kite-form hour markers and matching kite-form hands in 18K white gold indicate the time. Power is provided by the Omega calibre 8914, a self-winding mechanical movement equipped with a Co-Axial escapement. The movement beats at 3.5 Hz and offers a power reserve of approximately 60 hours. It is certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS and is resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. The movement drives the central hours and minutes and includes a time-zone function. The 140.13.39.21.01.001 is fitted with a black glossy leather strap secured by a polished buckle. The movement is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, featuring a rhodium-plated skeletonised rotor with an applied medallion depicting the Constellation Observatory emblem.
