Tetra 27 Gold Twice Unique - Scribble

The NOMOS Tetra gold 418.U9 debuted in 2026 as a one-of-a-kind Twice Unique execution in the Scribble collection, based on the Tetra 27 design. Within the Twice Unique format, each design is created as an inseparable pair in stainless steel and 18 kt gold, with five models per collection. In Scribble, Tetra 27 is one of those five models, its dial reworked through hand engraving by German jewelry artist and master goldsmith Saskia Licina. Its square case is executed in 18 kt gold and retains the compact Tetra 27 proportions, measuring 27.5mm by 27.5mm, with a height of 6.1mm and a lug-to-lug distance of 38.5mm. The watch is fitted with a sapphire crystal. The stepped lugs and square geometry remain unchanged from the underlying Tetra design. The dial is specific to the Scribble collection. For these watches, brass dials coated with ruthenium and silver were engraved by hand using fine tools to create flowing loops across the surface. In the Tetra version, the contrast between the engraved curves and the straight lines of the square case is especially pronounced. As part of the Scribble treatment, the standard white and grey silver-plated dial of the regular Tetra 27 is replaced by this engraved surface. Inside is the NOMOS DUW 4001, a hand-wound in-house movement measuring 23.3mm in diameter and 2.6mm in height, with 17 jewels and a power reserve of up to 53 hours. DUW 4001 remains one of NOMOS’ core manually wound calibres and is used here as the base movement for the Tetra format. This reference is fitted on a black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan strap with an 18mm lug width.
