The NOMOS Tangente 33 champagne 151 is the sapphire-back version of the smaller hand-wound Tangente with a champagne-gold dial, translating the model’s familiar design to a 32.8mm case with a warmer color palette. Its stainless steel case measures 32.8mm in diameter, 6.5mm in height, and 42.2mm lug to lug. It is fitted with sapphire crystal front and back and is water-resistant to 5 atm; earlier versions were rated to 3 atm. The dial is galvanized in a champagne-gold tone, with Arabic numerals, minute markers, a recessed small-seconds register, and rhodium-plated hands. This reference is fitted on a beige vegan velour remborde strap with a 17mm lug width. Inside is the NOMOS DUW 4001, a hand-wound in-house movement measuring 23.3mm in diameter and 2.6mm in height, with 17 jewels and a power reserve of up to 53 hours. Earlier versions of this reference used the Alpha movement, reflecting the gradual evolution of NOMOS’ long-running hand-wound movement architecture.
