Tangente 33

The NOMOS Tangente 33 122 is the steel-back version of the smaller hand-wound Tangente, translating the model’s familiar design to a 32.8mm case. Its stainless steel case measures 32.8mm in diameter, 6.5mm in height, and 42.2mm lug to lug. It is fitted with a sapphire crystal and a stainless steel case back, and is water-resistant to 5 atm; earlier versions were rated to 3 atm. The dial is galvanized and white silver-plated, with Arabic numerals, minute markers, a recessed small-seconds register, and tempered blue steel hands. This reference is fitted on a beige vegan velour remborde strap with a 17mm lug width. Inside is the NOMOS DUW 4001, a hand-wound in-house movement measuring 23.3mm in diameter and 2.6mm in height, with 17 jewels and a power reserve of up to 53 hours. Earlier versions of this reference used the Alpha movement, reflecting the gradual evolution of NOMOS’ long-running hand-wound movement architecture.
