Orion 33 Rose / Open Case Back

Reference 325 is the sapphire-back version of the NOMOS Orion 33 Rose, with a 32.8mm stainless steel case, rose silver-plated dial, gold-coloured hands, and manual winding. It uses the smaller Orion case format and a softer dial colour than the standard white silver-plated Orion references. The case measures 32.8mm in diameter, 7.6mm in height, and 41.3mm from lug to lug. It has a domed sapphire crystal front and a domed sapphire crystal case back. The Orion case is defined by its rounded, lenticular profile, curved crystal, and tapered lugs. Current specifications list water resistance at 5 atm, an increase from the earlier 3 atm rating. The galvanized rose dial is silver-plated and uses fine hour markers, a recessed small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock, and gold-coloured hands. The display consists of central hours and minutes with subsidiary seconds. Power currently comes from the NOMOS DUW 4001, a manually wound in-house calibre measuring 10 ½ lignes in diameter and 2.6mm in height. It has 17 jewels and a power reserve of up to 53 hours. Earlier examples of this reference were fitted with the Alpha calibre. The watch is supplied on a beige vegan velour remborde strap with a 17mm lug width.
