The NOMOS Club Sport neomatik 42 date black 781 was introduced in 2019 as the larger date-equipped model in the Club Sport neomatik collection. This reference combines a 42mm stainless steel case with a galvanized black dial, a date display at 3 o’clock, and the automatic DUW 6101. It is also one of the most water-resistant NOMOS watches, with a 30 atm rating and a dial inscription indicating 1000 ft. The stainless steel case measures 42.0mm in diameter, 10.2mm in height, and 52.3mm from lug to lug. It has a screwed construction, a screw-down crown, and a sapphire crystal case back. The domed sapphire crystal is treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides. The screw-down crown includes a red warning ring that becomes visible if the crown is not fully secured, while the 30 atm water-resistance rating makes the watch suitable for diving. The dial is galvanized in black and uses the larger Club Sport layout, with prominent Arabic numerals, baton indexes, and a date window at 3 o’clock. White Super-LumiNova is applied to the hour numerals and indexes, while the rhodium-plated hour and minute hands are filled with matching luminous material. The white dial printing and luminous elements create a high-contrast display against the black surface, with the 1000 ft inscription positioned as part of the watch’s functional identity. Inside is the NOMOS DUW 6101, an in-house automatic movement with the brand’s date mechanism. The movement measures 3.6mm in height, has a diameter of 35.2mm, and offers a power reserve of up to 42 hours. It is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. The watch is fitted to the Club Sport bracelet with quick-change spring bars and a 20mm lug width. The bracelet is made from screwed stainless steel components and is secured by a NOMOS deployant clasp.
