Nomos Glashütte Club Aqua Automat Datum Siren Blue Ref. 777

The NOMOS Club automatic date siren blue 777 was introduced in 2017 as a bright blue version of the larger automatic Club date model. This reference combines a 41.5mm stainless steel case with a siren blue dial, a large date display at 6 o’clock, and the automatic DUW 5101. It shares the robust construction of the Club automatic date line, including a sapphire crystal case back, 20 atm water resistance, and a waterproof blue-black woven textile strap. The stainless steel case measures 41.5mm in diameter, 9.8mm in height, and 53.0mm from lug to lug. It has a screwed construction, a sapphire crystal case back, and domed sapphire crystal glass on the front. Water resistance is rated at 20 atm, making the watch suitable for swimming and diving. The broad bezel, large case diameter, and long lug span give this version a more substantial footprint than the smaller manually wound Club models. The siren blue dial uses the familiar Club arrangement, with large Arabic numerals, baton hour markers, and an outer minute track. A large date window is positioned at 6 o’clock, using the NOMOS date mechanism for a clear and centrally aligned display. White Super-LumiNova is applied to the hour numerals and indexes, while the rhodium-plated hands contain matching luminous inlays. The neon orange seconds hand adds a contrasting accent against the light blue dial. Inside is the NOMOS DUW 5101, an in-house automatic movement with the NOMOS date mechanism. It measures 4.3mm in height, has a diameter of 31.0mm, and offers a power reserve of up to 42 hours. The movement is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. The watch is fitted to a waterproof blue-black woven textile strap with a 20mm lug width and a NOMOS winged clasp.
