The Zenith G.F.J. Calibre 135 98.1865.0135/21.C212 debuted in 2026 as a limited edition of 20 pieces in tantalum, continuing the G.F.J. line around the re-engineered Calibre 135 in a different material and dial execution. In this version, the 39mm round case is paired with a three-part dial combining an outer brick-pattern guilloché ring, an onyx centre, a grey mother-of-pearl small-seconds register, and baguette-cut diamond indexes. Its case is executed in tantalum and measures 39mm in diameter. Water resistance is rated to 5 ATM. As on the other G.F.J. references, the watch retains the collection’s restrained round profile and manually wound movement architecture, while shifting the material emphasis from yellow gold to a denser, darker metal. The dial follows the same three-part construction used across the line, but with different materials and markers. The outer ring carries the brick-pattern guilloché motif, the centre is cut from black onyx, and the small-seconds register is executed in grey mother-of-pearl. The hour markers are set with baguette-cut diamonds, giving this reference a different dial configuration from the bloodstone version with applied gold markers and dots. Inside is the manually wound Calibre 135, a COSC-certified movement operating at 18,000 vibrations per hour, or 2.5Hz, with a power reserve of 72 hours. The calibre includes a stop-seconds mechanism and retains the modern re-engineering of the historic 135 architecture, with finishes including broad Côtes de Genève and a dark ruthenium treatment accented by gold-coloured engravings. This reference is delivered with three straps: a blue nubuck alligator leather strap, a black alligator leather strap, and a grey calfskin leather strap.
