Zenith Defy Extreme Lapis II Ref. 10.9102.9004/51.I200

The Zenith DEFY Extreme Lapis Lazuli II 10.9102.9004/51.I200 was introduced in 2026 as a limited edition of 25 pieces. This reference follows the earlier DEFY Extreme Lapis Lazuli in steel and yellow gold, now using a 45 mm case in carbon and titanium. The case measures 15.4 mm thick and has a lug-to-lug length of 51 mm. It is fitted with the DEFY Extreme interchangeable strap system and is water-resistant to 20 ATM. The openworked dial has lapis lazuli counters, with the natural pyrite inclusions of the stone giving each dial element a slightly different appearance. Time is indicated by central hour and minute hands, with small seconds at 9 o’clock. The 1/100th-of-a-second chronograph has a central chronograph hand making one rotation per second, a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, a 60-second counter at 6 o’clock, and a chronograph power-reserve indication at 12 o’clock. The yellow gold-plated faceted hands and applied indexes are coated with Super-LumiNova SLN C1. Inside is the Zenith El Primero 9004, an automatic chronograph movement with two independent escapements. The timekeeping escapement runs at 36,000 vibrations per hour, while the chronograph escapement runs at 360,000 vibrations per hour to enable the 1/100th-of-a-second chronograph display. The movement is certified as a chronometer and provides a 50-hour power reserve for timekeeping, with 50 minutes available for the chronograph function. A satin-finished star-shaped oscillating weight is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. The watch is supplied on a black rubber strap with a folding clasp. A black high-performance Velcro strap is also included.
