The Zenith Chronomaster Original 03.3402.3610/53.C917 debuted in 2025 as a Japan-exclusive edition limited to 160 pieces. It features a 38.00 mm stainless-steel case with a water-resistance rating of 5 ATM and is fitted with an interchangeable strap system paired with a cordovan leather strap and folding clasp. The dial is made of aventurine, a material rarely used for watch dials due to its delicate nature and difficult fabrication. Within the Zenith collection, aventurine is employed exclusively for this model. Time is displayed via central hours and minutes, with small seconds positioned at 9 o’clock. The chronograph is a 1/10th-of-a-second configuration, using a central chronograph hand that completes one full rotation in 10 seconds, complemented by a 60-second counter at 3 o’clock and a 60-minute counter at 6 o’clock. Additional indications include a complete calendar (day, date, month) and a moon-phase display. Inside runs the El Primero calibre, operating at 36,000 vph (5 Hz) with an approximate power reserve of 60 hours. The movement consists of 366 components and integrates the high-frequency architecture characteristic of the El Primero line.
