Royal Day-Date 36 Stainless Steel - Diamond / Ivory

Ref. M2836C1S0-0001

The Tudor Royal M2836C1S0-0001 debuted in 2026 as a 36mm stainless steel date model within the updated Royal collection, distinguished by its ivory dial, diamond-set bezel, and mixed numeral-and-diamond hour display. Within the current 36mm range, this reference combines the Royal’s integrated steel architecture with a more jewellery-oriented bezel treatment, while retaining the collection’s date-only layout and slimmer case profile. Its stainless steel case measures 36mm in diameter and 9.7mm in height, with polished and satin-brushed surfaces that maintain the Royal line’s blend of formal and sport-oriented design cues. The bezel is executed in stainless steel and set with diamonds, giving this version a different visual character from the standard notched steel references elsewhere in the family. A screw-down winding crown in stainless steel, signed with the Tudor shield in relief, contributes to the 100-metre water resistance, while a sapphire crystal protects the dial. As with the rest of the updated Royal family, the case and end-link relationship was also revised so the bracelet links no longer contact the case directly. The dial is executed in ivory and arranged with a combination of Roman numerals and diamond-set hour markers. The 6, 9, and 12 o’clock positions are indicated by Roman numerals, while the remaining hours are marked by diamond-set indexes, creating a display that departs from both the full Roman numeral layouts and the new stick-marker configurations found elsewhere in the line. A date aperture is positioned at 3 o’clock. In the 36mm format, the absence of the day display used on the 40mm models gives the dial a cleaner overall structure, while the ivory tone and diamond detailing place this reference on the more decorative side of the Royal collection. Inside is the Tudor Manufacture Calibre MT5412, a self-winding mechanical movement with bidirectional rotor system, 28 jewels, and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. It is regulated to a tolerance of -2/+4 seconds per day on the fully assembled watch and incorporates a variable inertia balance, a non-magnetic silicon hairspring, and a stop-seconds function for precise time setting. The bracelet is the Royal’s integrated five-link steel design, with satin-brushed external and central links, polished intermediate links, and a folding clasp with safety catch. In this configuration, the uninterrupted transition from case to bracelet remains central to the watch’s identity, but the diamond-set bezel and mixed marker layout shift the emphasis toward a more decorative interpretation of the 36mm Royal format.
