The Swatch MoonSwatch Mission to the Moon 1969 SSX01B700 was introduced in 2026 as a numbered limited edition of 1,969 pieces within the Bioceramic MoonSwatch collection. The watch references both the Apollo 11 Moon landing and the gold Omega Speedmaster created in 1969 to commemorate the mission. This reference has a 42.00 mm matte black Bioceramic case measuring 13.25 mm thick, with a lug-to-lug length of 47.30 mm. It is fitted with a bio-based crystal and is water-resistant to 3 bar. The dial is made of 18-karat Omega Moonshine Gold and has a vertically satin-finished surface. The hands, crown, and pushers are also made of 18-karat Moonshine Gold, with the total gold components weighing 11 grams. The dial has recessed subdials with black hands and Arabic numerals, gold-colored faceted indexes with black lacquer, and Omega x Swatch, Speedmaster, and MoonSwatch branding. This model uses the Omega logo and typography from 1969. The black Bioceramic bezel has a gold-colored tachymeter scale protected by a scratch-resistant coating. The gold used for the dial, hands, crown, and pushers was produced by melting down Omega spare parts from 1969 and transforming them into 18-karat Omega Moonshine Gold. Inside is a quartz chronograph movement. The battery cover has a gold-colored Moon motif with a scratch-resistant coating, along with the Apollo 11 Moon landing date and a footprint referencing the first step in Mare Tranquillitatis. The individual limited-edition number is engraved on the side of the case at 9 o’clock and highlighted with a small gold lacquer accent. The watch is fitted with a black rubber strap with a VELCRO-style closure, a gold-colored Moon-textured lining, and a Bioceramic keeper.
