Velshida

With aesthetics echoing that of a compass, Velsheda offers a minimalistic display of time, using a single blued-steel hand to indicate hours and minutes. Two superimposed ‘topping tool’ motifs – one displaying seconds, the other the hub of the double-ended hand – overlap, creating ever-changing patterns that bring the dial to life. The Velshida movement is based on the Vaucher 3002, though all functions save for the hours have been dropped. The present example has a red gold case with a bezel set with 46 baguette diamonds totaling 2.16 carat. The crown is set with a 0.2 Top Wesselton.
