Rolex Datejust 36 Stainless Steel - Everose - Diamond / Chocolate - Diamond / Oyster Ref. 126281RBR-0042

The Rolex Datejust 36 Stainless Steel - Everose - Diamond / Chocolate - Diamond / Oyster 126281RBR-0042 has a 36 mm stainless steel case, and is water resistant to 100 metres.

The Rolex Datejust 36 126281RBR-0042 debuted in 2026 as a gem-set Everose Rolesor configuration of the Datejust collection, combining the 36 mm Oyster case with a chocolate dial set with diamonds, a diamond-set bezel, and an Oyster bracelet. In this reference, the familiar Datejust architecture is preserved, but the bracelet choice gives the watch a slightly firmer and more direct character than the Jubilee-bracelet version, even as the dial and bezel move it into a more decorative register. Its Oyster case measures 36 mm in diameter and follows the established construction of the Datejust line, with a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, and Twinlock screw-down winding crown. The case is executed in Everose Rolesor, Rolex’s combination of Oystersteel and Everose gold, and is fitted with a diamond-set bezel rather than the domed or fluted alternatives used elsewhere in the collection. That bezel immediately changes the emphasis of the watch, creating a brighter perimeter around the dial while preserving the familiar Oyster case profile. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal incorporates the Cyclops lens over the date, and water resistance is rated to 100 metres. The dial is executed in chocolate with a sunray finish and set with diamonds in 18 ct gold settings. The radial brushing produces shifting reflections across the surface, and the warm brown tone works closely with the Everose elements in the case and bracelet. In this reference, the diamond-set hour markers and gem-set bezel reinforce one another, giving the watch a more ornamental and dress-oriented appearance than the non-set versions while retaining the familiar Datejust display of hours, minutes, seconds, and the date at 3 o’clock. Inside is Rolex calibre 3235, a self-winding manufacture movement with centre hours, minutes, and seconds, instantaneous date with rapid setting, stop-seconds for precise time setting, and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and is equipped with a blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers. As in other Datejust references using this calibre, the movement combines the collection’s everyday date function with Rolex’s current automatic architecture. The watch is fitted with an Oyster bracelet in Everose Rolesor, with three-piece solid links, a folding Oysterclasp, and the Easylink comfort extension system allowing approximately 5 mm of adjustment. In this configuration, the Oyster bracelet gives the watch a slightly more compact and grounded visual rhythm than the Jubilee-bracelet counterpart, while the chocolate dial and diamond-set bezel maintain its more jewelled identity. The result is a Datejust 36 that blends a classic case format with a richer combination of gem-setting, colour, and two-tone construction, but in a bracelet configuration that keeps the overall presentation more direct.
