The Rolex Datejust 36 126233-0055 debuted in 2026 as a Yellow Rolesor interpretation of the Datejust 36, pairing a bright black dial and new-style Roman numerals with a fluted bezel and Jubilee bracelet. Its 36 mm Oyster case follows the established Datejust architecture with a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, and Twinlock screw-down winding crown. The case is executed in Yellow Rolesor, combining Oystersteel and yellow gold, and the bezel is fluted in yellow gold. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with Cyclops lens covers the dial side, and water resistance is rated to 100 metres. The dial is bright black with a sunray finish and fitted with the newer Roman numeral layout used for this reference group. Central hours, minutes, and seconds are displayed together with the date at 3 o’clock. In this configuration, the fluted bezel and Jubilee bracelet place the watch closest to the traditional Datejust formula, while the black dial gives the reference a more direct contrast than lighter Roman numeral executions. Inside is Rolex calibre 3235, a self-winding mechanical movement with central hours, minutes, and seconds, instantaneous date with rapid setting, and stop-seconds.
