The Rolex Datejust 36 126231-0053 debuted in 2026 as an Everose Rolesor configuration of the Datejust collection, combining the 36 mm Oyster case with a chocolate dial set with diamonds, a fluted bezel, and a Jubilee bracelet. In this reference, the familiar Datejust formula is retained, but the balance of colours and materials gives the watch a warmer and more jewellery-oriented character than more restrained steel or non-set versions. Its Oyster case measures 36 mm in diameter and follows the established architecture of the Datejust line, with a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, and Twinlock screw-down winding crown. The case is executed in Everose Rolesor, Rolex’s combination of Oystersteel and Everose gold, and is fitted with a fluted bezel in Everose gold. That bezel remains one of the defining visual elements of the Datejust, giving the watch a more formal and immediately recognisable profile than domed-bezel versions in the same family. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal incorporates the Cyclops lens over the date, and water resistance is rated to 100 metres. The dial is executed in chocolate with a sunray finish and set with diamonds in 18 ct gold settings. The radial brushing of the sunray surface produces shifting reflections across the dial, while the darker brown tone works closely with the warmth of the Everose elements in the case and bracelet.
