The Rolex Datejust 36 126200-0030 debuted in 2026 as an Oystersteel configuration within the Datejust collection, combining a 36 mm Oyster case with a bright blue dial, new-style Roman numerals, a domed bezel, and an Oyster bracelet. Its Oyster case measures 36 mm in diameter and follows the established Datejust construction with a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, and Twinlock screw-down winding crown. In this configuration, the case and domed bezel are executed entirely in Oystersteel. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with Cyclops lens covers the dial side, and water resistance is rated to 100 metres. The dial is executed in bright blue with a sunray finish and fitted with Roman numeral hour markers in the updated style used for this set of references. The display remains the standard Datejust arrangement of central hours, minutes, and seconds with a date window at 3 o’clock. In this version, the domed bezel keeps the emphasis on the dial colour and numeral treatment rather than on the bezel itself. Inside is Rolex calibre 3235, a self-winding mechanical movement with central hours, minutes, and seconds, instantaneous date with rapid setting, and stop-seconds for precise time setting. It offers a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and is equipped with a blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers. The watch is fitted with an Oyster bracelet in Oystersteel with three-piece solid links. It is secured by an Oysterclasp folding clasp and incorporates the Easylink comfort extension system, allowing approximately 5 mm of on-the-wrist adjustment.
