The Rolex Datejust 36 126200-0028 debuted in 2026 as an Oystersteel configuration within the Datejust collection, combining a 36 mm Oyster case with a white dial, new-style Roman numerals, a domed bezel, and an Oyster bracelet. Its Oyster case measures 36 mm in diameter and follows the established Datejust construction with a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, and Twinlock screw-down winding crown. In this configuration, both the case and the domed bezel are executed in Oystersteel. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with Cyclops lens covers the dial side, and water resistance is rated to 100 metres. The dial is executed in white and fitted with the updated Roman numeral hour markers used for this family of references. The display follows the standard Datejust layout of central hours, minutes, and seconds with a date window at 3 o’clock. Here, the smooth case treatment places the emphasis on the dial itself, with the white surface and revised numeral style defining the reference more than the surrounding bezel. Inside is Rolex calibre 3235, a self-winding mechanical movement with central hours, minutes, and seconds, instantaneous date with rapid setting, and stop-seconds for precise time setting. It offers a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and is equipped with a blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers. The watch is fitted with an Oyster bracelet in Oystersteel with three-piece solid links. It is secured by an Oysterclasp folding clasp and incorporates the Easylink comfort extension system, allowing approximately 5 mm of on-the-wrist adjustment.
