The Patek Philippe Nautilus Flyback Chronograph 5980/1400R-011 is a Haute Joaillerie execution of the Nautilus chronograph, presented in rose gold with extensive diamond setting across the case, bezel, dial, and bracelet. The watch is housed in a rose-gold Nautilus case measuring 40.5 mm in diameter (10–4 o’clock) with a thickness of 12.2 mm. Water resistance is rated to 30 metres. A screw-down crown is fitted, and sapphire crystals are used on both the dial side and the case back. The dial is finished in sunburst charcoal grey with a black-gradient rim and horizontal embossing. Chronograph indications are arranged in a single monocounter combining the 60-minute and 12-hour displays. Nine baguette-cut diamond hour markers with a total weight of approximately 0.18 carat are applied to the dial. Rose-gold baton-style hands with white luminescent coating indicate the time and chronograph functions. A date aperture is integrated into the display. Diamond setting includes 100 brilliant-cut diamonds set into the case (approximately 0.76 carat), 32 baguette-cut diamonds set into the bezel (approximately 5.90 carats), and a bracelet set with 793 brilliant-cut diamonds (approximately 3.69 carats) and 150 baguette-cut diamonds (approximately 9.56 carats). In total, the watch incorporates 893 brilliant-cut diamonds (approximately 4.44 carats) and 191 baguette-cut diamonds (approximately 15.64 carats). Powering the watch is the self-winding calibre CH 28-520 C. The movement measures 30 mm in diameter and 6.63 mm in thickness, comprises 327 components and 35 jewels, and operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour (4 Hz). It features a flyback chronograph with a central chronograph seconds hand, a combined 60-minute and 12-hour counter, and a date display. The power reserve is specified between approximately 45 and 55 hours. Winding is via a 21K gold central rotor. The movement incorporates a Gyromax balance, a Spiromax balance spring, and bears the Patek Philippe Seal.
