Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph 5970 5970P-001

Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph 5970 Ref. 5970P-001

The Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph 5970 5970P-001 has a 40 mm platinum case, measures 10.7 mm thick, and is water resistant to 25 metres.

While the 5970 was originally launched in 2004, the 5970P-001, with its platinum case and deep black dial, didn't see the light of day until BaselWorld 2009. The combination of the perpetual calendar with chronograph is one of Patek's finest, and the 5970 as such is a much sought-after watch; especially since it was discontinued in favor of the in-house 5270.
