Submersible GMT Carbotech Navy SEALs Afniotech

The Panerai Submersible Navy SEALs Afniotech Experience PAM01089 was introduced in 2026 as a 35-piece limited edition in a 47mm Afniotech case. Afniotech is a metal with more than 95 percent hafnium content, used here by Panerai for the first time in watchmaking. The reference combines this material debut with 100 bar water resistance, a GMT function, Navy SEALs theming, and the automatic P.9010/GMT. The 47mm case is built around reinforced Submersible architecture, with oversized pressure-bearing elements including the titanium case back and sapphire crystal. Water resistance is rated at 100 bar, approximately 1,000 metres, with testing beyond the stated rating. The unidirectional rotating bezel has a laser-engraved 15-minute scale, square teeth for grip, and a luminous marker at 12 o’clock, while the rectangular crown is designed for easier handling. The dial and bezel use Super-LumiNova X2 with differentiated colours for underwater readability. The bezel dot and minute hand glow blue, while the remaining luminous elements glow green. The display includes hours, minutes, small seconds, date, and a 12-hour GMT indication, keeping the travel-time function integrated into a professional dive-watch format. Inside is the Panerai P.9010/GMT, an automatic GMT movement with two barrels and a three-day power reserve. The watch is fitted to an anthracite textile strap with a titanium buckle and is linked to a three-day Navy SEALs Experience in Florida for owners, scheduled for March 2027.
