Panerai Luminor GMT Ceramica 40 / Blue Ref. PAM01783

The Panerai Luminor GMT Ceramica PAM01783 was introduced in 2026 as an 80-piece limited edition in a 40mm ceramic case. This reference combines the smaller Luminor case size with Panerai’s black ceramic construction, a 12-hour GMT function, 30 bar water resistance, and the automatic P.900/GMT movement. The dial includes the “BiTempo” inscription, using the Italian term for dual time. The ceramic case is made from zirconium oxide powder processed through high-temperature sintering. Panerai states that the material is lighter than steel and highly resistant to scratches, corrosion, and heat. The 40mm case retains the Luminor cushion profile and crown-protecting bridge, while the smoked sapphire crystal case back leaves the movement visible. Water resistance is rated at 30 bar, approximately 300 meters. The dial follows the Luminor format, with a clear time display, GMT indication, and the additional BiTempo text identifying the dual-time function. The GMT complication uses a 12-hour format, allowing a second time zone to be read alongside local time. The compact case size and ceramic construction give PAM01783 a different character from larger steel Luminor GMT models. The watch is fitted with the PAM Click Release System on both strap and buckle, allowing tool-free changes. It is supplied with a black calf strap with white stitching and an additional blue rubber strap.
