The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terrra Worldtimer was first seen at BaselWorld 2017 as a limited edition of 87 pieces. featuring a platinum case. New variations, in in stainless steel or 18K Sedna gold, were added to the collection in 2019. Reference 220.12.43.22.03.001 has a stainless steel case and a rubber strap It features a blue dial. The center of the dial contains a 24-hour glass ring, with light blue to indicate daytime and dark blue to indicate night. The vision of Earth is created on a grade 5 titanium plate. This has been laser-ablated to create the blue ocean, leaving a relief of the continents. The contrasting colours of the Earth’s surface are obtained naturally by the laser’s chemical reaction.
