The NOMOS Tangente Sport neomatik 42 date 580 is a 42mm automatic sports watch that adapts the Tangente design to a more robust case with increased water resistance, a screw-down crown, and an integrated steel bracelet. Its stainless steel case measures 42.0mm in diameter, 10.9mm in height, and 52.6mm lug to lug. The construction is secured with six screws and includes a crown guard. The watch is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides and a sapphire crystal case back. Water resistance is rated to 30 atm. The dial is galvanized and white silver-plated, with a large date at 3 o’clock. The hour indexes are executed in sand-colored Super-LumiNova, while the rhodium-plated hour and minute hands are filled with dark blue Super-LumiNova. Inside is the NOMOS DUW 6101, an in-house automatic movement measuring 35.2mm in diameter and 3.6mm in height, with 27 jewels and a power reserve of up to 42 hours. It incorporates NOMOS’ date mechanism, with the date ring positioned around the movement, allowing a large date display while maintaining a relatively slim profile for the caliber. This reference is fitted on the NOMOS Sport bracelet, developed for the model and secured by a deployant clasp.
