Nomos Glashütte Tangente Neomatik 41 Update Midnight Blue Ref. 182

The NOMOS Tangente neomatik 41 Update midnight blue 182 debuted in 2021 as a later variation of the Tangente Update, pairing the DUW 6101 and peripheral ring-date display with a midnight blue dial in the 40.5mm case format. Its stainless steel case measures 40.5mm in diameter, 7.8mm in height, and 49.3mm lug to lug. It is fitted with a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner side, a sapphire crystal case back, and is water-resistant to 5 atm. The dial is midnight blue, with the date arranged around the outer edge and indicated by two green Super-LumiNova markers. The typography and minute markers remain consistent with Tangente, while rhodium-plated hands and gold “neomatik” text complete the display. Inside is the NOMOS DUW 6101, an in-house automatic movement measuring 35.2mm in diameter and 3.6mm in height, with 27 jewels and a power reserve of up to 42 hours. It incorporates NOMOS’ ring-date mechanism, with the date ring positioned around the movement, and allows quick adjustment in both directions. This reference is fitted on a black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan remborde strap with a 20mm lug width and a square stainless steel winged clasp.
