Nomos Glashütte Tangente Neomatik 41 Update Ruthenium 181

Nomos Glashütte Tangente Neomatik 41 Update Ruthenium Ref. 181

The Nomos Glashütte Tangente Neomatik 41 Update Ruthenium 181 has a 40.5 mm stainless steel case, measures 7.9 mm thick, and is water resistant to 50 metres.

The NOMOS Tangente Update 181 was introduced in early 2019. Building on the template of the 2018 Tangente Update, the novelty lies in the dial: this is now done in ruthenium. It features a brand-new self-winding movement (DUW 6101), which can be set both forwards as well as -and this is rather special- backwards. With this Tangente the date is indicated in a fittingly innovative way: two red bars frame the current date. At 40.5mm the Tangente Neomatik 41 Update is one of NOMOS' larger watches, while at 7.9mm it is still very slim. Lug-to-lug we measured it at approximately 48.2mm. Including strap (20mm) the weight is 58 gram. The power reserve of the movement is 42 hours once fully wound, and it is rated water resistant up to 5 atmosphere.
