Nomos Glashütte Tangente Neomatik 41 Update Ref. 180

The Nomos Glashütte Tangente Neomatik 41 Update 180 has a 41 mm stainless steel case, measures 7.9 mm thick, and is water resistant to 30 metres.

The NOMOS Tangente neomatik 41 Update 180 debuted in 2018 as one of the first NOMOS models to feature the peripheral ring-date display, combining the Tangente design with the then-new DUW 6101 automatic caliber. Its stainless steel case measures 40.5mm in diameter, 7.8mm in height, and 49.3mm lug to lug. It is fitted with a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, a sapphire crystal case back, and is water-resistant to 5 atm. The dial is galvanized and white silver-plated. The date is arranged around the outer edge and indicated by two red markers, while the typography, minute markers, and overall layout remain consistent with Tangente. Oxidized black hands complete the display. Inside is the NOMOS DUW 6101, an in-house automatic movement measuring 35.2mm in diameter and 3.6mm in height, with 42 jewels and a power reserve of up to 42 hours. It incorporates NOMOS’ ring-date mechanism, with the date ring positioned around the movement, and allows quick adjustment in both directions. This reference is fitted on a black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan remborde strap with a 20mm lug width and a square stainless steel winged clasp.
