Nomos Glashütte Tangente Neomatik Nachtblau Ref. 177

The NOMOS Tangente neomatik midnight blue 177 is a 35mm automatic Tangente with a midnight blue dial and contrasting accent colours. It uses the familiar Tangente case and dial architecture, while introducing a darker colour palette with mint minute numerals and a neon orange small-seconds hand. Its stainless steel case measures 35.0mm in diameter, 6.9mm in height, and 43.0mm lug to lug. Sapphire crystal is fitted front and back, and water resistance is rated to 5 atm. The straight case sides and angled lugs remain characteristic of the Tangente design. The dial is midnight blue, with Arabic numerals, minute markers, and a recessed small-seconds register. Rhodium-plated hour and minute hands are paired with a neon orange seconds hand, while the minute numerals are printed in mint. The “neomatik” text indicates the automatic movement within. Inside is the NOMOS DUW 3001, an automatic in-house movement measuring 28.8mm in diameter and 3.2mm in height, with a power reserve of up to 43 hours. The calibre is equipped with the NOMOS swing system and was developed to allow automatic watches to remain notably slim. This reference is fitted on a black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan remborde strap with an 18mm lug width.
