Tangente 38 120 Jahre Depperich

The NOMOS Glashütte Tangente 164.S8 debuted in 2018 as a limited-edition variant of the Tangente, created to mark the 120th anniversary of Juwelier Depperich. The watch is housed in a 38.0mm stainless steel case measuring 6.8mm in thickness, with a lug-to-lug distance of 47.7mm. Water resistance is rated to 3 atm. The case is fitted with a sapphire crystal and a sapphire crystal case back. The dial is silver-plated and characterised by the Tangente’s elongated Arabic hour numerals with serifs and a recessed small seconds display at 6 o’clock. For this edition, the minute track is rendered as a contrasting gold-toned ring of fine indexes, forming a mosaic-like perimeter against the white dial surface. Polished, rhodium-plated hands complete the layout and provide tonal contrast. A limited-edition engraving on the case back identifies the anniversary edition. The watch is powered by the in-house NOMOS Alpha manually wound movement. The calibre measures 2.6mm in height and 23.3mm in diameter, contains 17 jewels, and delivers a power reserve of up to 43 hours. The movement is finished with Glashütte ribbing and sunburst decoration, visible through the sapphire case back.
