Nomos Glashütte Tangente Gold Neomatik Ruthenium Ref. 163

The NOMOS Tangente gold neomatik ruthenium 163 debuted in 2025 as a 35mm automatic Tangente executed in 18 kt gold, distinguished by a dark ruthenium-plated dial. Within the Tangente gold neomatik line, it pairs the standard case and DUW 3001 movement with a different dial finish and gold hands. Its case is crafted in 18 kt gold and measures 35.0mm in diameter, 6.9mm in height, and 43.0mm lug to lug. The watch is fitted with a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner side and a sapphire crystal case back. Water resistance is rated to 3 atm. The straight case sides and angled lugs remain consistent with the established Tangente design. The dial is galvanized and ruthenium-plated, replacing the white silver-plated dial used on the other gold neomatik variants. Arabic numerals, minute markers, and the recessed small-seconds register retain the standard Tangente layout, while the hands are executed in gold. Inside is the NOMOS DUW 3001, an automatic in-house movement measuring 28.8mm in diameter and 3.2mm in height, with 37 jewels and a power reserve of up to 43 hours. The calibre is equipped with the NOMOS swing system and was developed to allow automatic watches to retain a notably slim profile. This reference is fitted on a black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan remborde strap with an 18mm lug width.
