The NOMOS Tangente neomatik 39 blue gold 145 is the steel-back version of the 38.5mm automatic Tangente distinguished by a blue dial with sunburst finish. Within the Tangente neomatik line, it pairs the larger case format with a dial treatment that differs from the flatter finishes used on the standard models. Its stainless steel case measures 38.5mm in diameter, 7.2mm in height, and 47.3mm lug to lug. It is fitted with a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner side, a solid stainless steel case back, and is water-resistant to 5 atm. The dial is galvanized in blue and finished with a sunburst brushing. According to NOMOS, the colour effect is created in part by a thin layer of gold applied in the first step of galvanization. The display retains Tangente’s familiar layout, with Arabic numerals, minute markers, a recessed small-seconds register, and rhodium-plated hands. Inside is the NOMOS DUW 3001, an in-house automatic movement measuring 28.8mm in diameter and 3.2mm in height, with 27 jewels, a power reserve of up to 43 hours, and the NOMOS swing system. This reference is fitted on a black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan remborde strap with a 19mm lug width and a square stainless steel winged clasp.
