Nomos Glashütte Tangente Neomatik 39 Platinum Gray / Open Ref. 144

The NOMOS Tangente neomatik 39 platinum gray 144 is the sapphire-back version of the 38.5mm automatic Tangente with a rhodium-plated dial and matching rhodium-plated hands. Within the Tangente neomatik line, it combines the larger case format with a monochrome metallic colorway. Its stainless steel case measures 38.5mm in diameter, 7.2mm in height, and 47.3mm lug to lug. It is fitted with a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner side, a sapphire crystal case back, and is water-resistant to 5 atm. The dial is galvanized and rhodium-plated, with Tangente’s familiar Arabic numerals, minute markers, and recessed small-seconds register. The hands match the dial in tone, giving this version a more restrained appearance than the colored variants. Inside is the NOMOS DUW 3001, an in-house automatic movement measuring 28.8mm in diameter and 3.2mm in height, with 27 jewels, a power reserve of up to 43 hours, and the NOMOS swing system. Through the sapphire back, the movement reveals the bidirectional winding rotor engraved with the manufacture’s “NOMOS Glashütte Deutsche Uhrenwerke” mark in gold. This reference is fitted on a black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan remborde strap with a 19mm lug width and a square stainless steel winged clasp.
