Tangente 2date Stainless Steel / White

Ref. 135

The NOMOS Tangente 2date 135 debuted in 2024 as a hand-wound Tangente with two date indications: the NOMOS ring date around the edge of the dial and a large date window at 6 o’clock. This dual-date layout shows both the current date and its position within the monthly sequence at a glance. Its stainless steel case measures 37.5mm in diameter, 6.8mm in height, and 47.7mm lug to lug. The watch is fitted with sapphire crystal front and back, both with anti-reflective coating, and is water-resistant to 5 atm. The dial is galvanized and white silver-plated, with rhodium-plated hands, a recessed small-seconds register, and Tangente’s familiar numeral and minute-track layout. The large date window at 6 o’clock sits close beneath the sub-seconds display, while the peripheral ring date is printed in red. NOMOS also reworked the proportions of the date aperture and repositioned the “Made in Germany” text to accommodate the two displays. Inside is the NOMOS DUW 4601, a hand-wound in-house movement measuring 34.6mm in diameter and 2.8mm in height, with 23 jewels and a power reserve of up to 52 hours. Its patented date mechanism allows both date displays to advance and be adjusted together. Through the sapphire case back, the movement reveals sunbeam ribbing radiating from the NOMOS swing system, a skeletonized balance cock, and the decorated plate of the date ring. This reference is fitted on a black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan strap with a 19mm lug width.
