Orion Neomatik 36 Doré

The NOMOS Orion Neomatik Doré 397 is the Doré execution of the 36.4mm Orion neomatik, with a stainless steel case, white silver-plated dial, gold-coloured hands, gold-coloured markers, and the automatic DUW 3001 calibre. The reference keeps the restrained Orion layout, while the gold dial accents distinguish it from the standard neomatik versions. The case measures 36.4mm in diameter, 8.5mm in height, and 45mm from lug to lug. It has a domed sapphire crystal front and a domed sapphire crystal case back. The Orion case is defined by its rounded, lenticular profile, tapered lugs, narrow bezel, and compact crown. Current specifications list water resistance at 5 atm, an increase from the earlier 3 atm rating. The galvanized white silver-plated dial uses applied hour markers, fine printed minute and seconds markings, and a recessed small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock. The gold neomatik signature and gold dot at 6 o’clock continue the Doré colour treatment without changing the basic display, which consists of central hours and minutes with subsidiary seconds. Power comes from the NOMOS DUW 3001, an automatic in-house calibre measuring 12 ¾ lignes in diameter and 3.2mm in height. It has 37 jewels, a power reserve of up to 43 hours, and uses the NOMOS swing system. The movement is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. The watch is supplied on a brown Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan remborde strap with an 18mm lug width.
