Orion Gold Neomatik Doré
Ref. 349
The NOMOS Orion Gold Neomatik Doré 349 is the gold-handed version of the 36.4mm Orion Gold Neomatik, combining an 18k yellow gold case with a white silver-plated dial and the automatic DUW 3001 calibre. The reference uses the same compact gold Orion case as the blue-hand version, but with a warmer dial-side execution. The case measures 36.4mm in diameter, 8.5mm in height, and 45mm from lug to lug. It is made from 18k yellow gold and has a domed sapphire crystal front with anti-reflective coating on the inner side, plus a domed sapphire crystal case back. The Orion case is defined by its rounded, lenticular profile, tapered lugs, and compact crown. Water resistance is rated to 3 atm. The galvanized white silver-plated dial uses fine hour markers and a recessed small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock. Its display is reduced to central hours and minutes with subsidiary seconds, following the restrained layout of the Orion line. Power comes from the NOMOS DUW 3001, an automatic in-house calibre measuring 12 ¾ lignes in diameter and 3.2mm in height. It has 37 jewels, a power reserve of up to 43 hours, and uses the NOMOS swing system. The movement is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. The watch is supplied on a brown Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan remborde strap with an 18mm lug width.
